Alexander leverages his background in community engagement and political action to create plans and designs driven by community needs and desires. Prior to joining Nelson\Nygaard, Alexander worked at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, improving transportation access across the city. This work informed his belief in the benefits of universal design and the importance of prioritizing mobility for all people.
