Kevin Johnson

Kevin is a seasoned planner and project manager with more than a decade of experience leading regional planning and infrastructure initiatives focused on active transportation, urban design, transit, and development. He is passionate about shaping projects that bring people together and enhance accessibility, livability, and resilience—along with the policies that make these outcomes possible. Kevin’s work focuses on strategic policy, transportation integration, new mobility, and transit. As a project manager, he works to break down silos across disciplines, tackling complex issues with curiosity and collaboration to drive projects forward and create meaningful, lasting impact.

Kevin previously worked within the public sector at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency and the Los Angeles Department of Transportation. He then transitioned to private transportation consulting and worked for 7 years at two prominent California based firms.

Kevin is a team member of Access Planning, a part of Nelson\Nygaard Canada.
