Mario Nicolas

Mario’s goal is to create effective mobility solutions that enhance the lives of all who use them. He believes in operational understanding, tailored data analysis, and thoughtful engagement that meet communities’ unique challenges and opportunities.

Prior to Nelson\Nygaard, Mario worked on agency strategy and financial analysis at San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency and interned with the U.S. Department of Energy performing geospatial analysis to support the implementation of a nationwide renewable energy tax credit. He’s also contributed to bicycle parking planning for major events in San Francisco and transit boarding island siting in Santa Clara County. His experience allows him to synthesize complex data into actionable solutions, engage diverse stakeholders, and enhance sustainability and accessibility throughout project lifecycles.
