
Tien-Tien Chan
Tien-Tien (pronounced TIM-tim) has 18 years of public- and private-sector experience in the transportation field. She specializes in transportation demand management, parking, and all things multimodal. Her perspective is informed by working in local government, at a transit agency, and in private consulting. Prior to joining Nelson\Nygaard, she was a project manager at the MBTA Customer Technology Department, helping to apply modern principles of research, design, and technology to the T. While living in Texas, Tien-Tien served as the TDM Program Manager for the City of Austin, where she built the City’s first TDM program from the ground up. In her spare time, Tien-Tien serves as chair of the Transportation Research Board’s committee on TDM and bikes around Boston with her daughter.
